The governor of the state of Ogun, Prince Dapo Abiodun, said that so far 28 people have been quarantined in the state of Ogun.
Pulsenaija learned that those in quarantine were those who had contact with the Italian, who was the first person to test positive for coronavirus.
Governor Abiodun said in a press conference on Friday that the state government was leaving nothing to chance because the supplies needed by health workers had been purchased so that they could stop the situation immediately.
According to him, the state is also looking for those who could have had contact with the Italians, to isolate them, adding that “a contact tracking exercise is underway.”
Abiodun also said that the company that the Italian had visited had been closed, saying that two isolation centers had been established in the company.
